Work with me
Two doors. Both of them start with real testing.
I take a small number of patients so that appointments can be long. Here is exactly what each option involves, what it costs, and who it is genuinely wrong for.
Option one
The Full Workup
12 WEEKS / $1,850 / 5 VISITS
For the woman who has already been round the loop and wants the whole picture read properly, once, by someone with the time to do it.
Visit one, 90 minutes. Full history. You talk for the first thirty minutes without me interrupting. We agree the testing plan before you leave.
The panel. Thyroid including antibodies and free hormones, full iron studies, fasting insulin and HbA1c, sex hormones timed to your cycle, inflammatory markers, and nutrient status. Lab fees are billed at cost, typically $290 to $440.
Visit two, 60 minutes. I walk you through every result and give you a written interpretation in plain language that you keep and can share with any other clinician.
Visits three to five, 45 minutes each. Adjust, re-test where it matters, and taper you off anything that is not earning its place.
Between visits. Direct message access with a two business day reply, for the whole twelve weeks.
Wrong for you if. You want a protocol without testing, you need acute or emergency care, or you are looking for someone to confirm a diagnosis you have already decided on.
Option two
The Second Read
SINGLE SESSION / $340 / 60 MINUTES
You already hold results. You want a straight answer on whether they were read well, and what you would sensibly do next.
Before we meet. You send whatever you have. Lab PDFs, imaging reports, clinic letters, the lot. I read all of it in advance and I charge you nothing extra for that time.
The session, 60 minutes. I tell you what I see, where I agree with the read you were given, and where I do not and why.
Afterwards. A written second opinion and a short prioritised list of what I would test next, with rough costs, so you can act on it with me or with anyone else.
Wrong for you if. You have no prior testing at all, in which case the Full Workup is the honest starting point and I will tell you so rather than take the booking.
I take twelve new patients a quarter. That is the whole reason the appointments can run ninety minutes.

Questions people ask before booking
No. I am fee for service, which is what makes ninety minute appointments possible. I provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer, and many plans reimburse part of the visit cost. Lab work is frequently covered separately when ordered through your existing insurance, and I will always order it that way when I can.
Absolutely not, and I will not accept you as a patient if that is the plan. I work alongside primary care. I refer out constantly and I write to your GP with your permission whenever I find something they should know about.
That happens, and it is still useful information. It rules out a set of explanations properly rather than by assumption, and it usually redirects us toward sleep, load, or something structural. You will get the same written interpretation either way, and I will tell you plainly if I think further testing with me is not worth your money.
For iron and thyroid, most people notice something inside six to eight weeks. For insulin and perimenopause, three to six months is honest. Anyone promising you two weeks is selling something.
I can consult by video with residents of Oregon and Washington. For the Second Read, which is an opinion on records rather than a course of treatment, I can work with people anywhere, though I cannot order labs or prescribe outside my licensed states.
You can, but I would rather you did not start there. Most people arrive on eleven products and leave on three. The testing tells us which three, and that is a much better use of the same money.
